Peeps are an Easter staple! This is a must-try Easter bunny craft. Even if you don’t love them, it’s just something that you have to have during the season.

Don’t worry if you don’t have Peeps where you live; I got you covered with another option.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

B. Set-up

Grab some paint and a white piece of paper to get ready! Grab a few Peeps and some paint and add it to a tray.

C. Activity

Have the kids paint the Peeps using a paintbrush and acrylic paint. Then, have them make prints on white paper! Make sure to press the Peeps down completely so the whole bunny shows up.

If you don’t have Peeps where you live, make your own bunny sponges! Create a bunny shape on a sponge using a Sharpie marker.

Cut it out, and then you can do the same activity! Such a great Easter craft for kids.

B. Set-up

Draw a bunny shape on colored paper! Then, grab your paint and dump it in a paint tray. Lastly, place poms on clothespins.

C. Activity

Have your little one dip the pom into the paint and make prints on the bunny. They will cover up the entire bunny with the prints!

Then, grab some pink paint to make the nose and the inside of the bunny’s ears.

Lastly, glue on some googly eyes to finish the bunny craft!

Print off my bunny template and cut out the images. Then, use masking tape to tape the bunnies on white cardstock paper.

C. Activity

The kids will dip their fingers into the paint and make prints all around the paper! Of course, they want to make sure to make prints around the entire bunny so it shows up.

When they are done, peel off the paper bunnies to reveal what’s underneath!

B. Set-up

Print off my bunny freebie! Cut it out and place it on an art tray. Cut a sponge up into several pieces, as you see above. Then, pour your paints into your tray.

C. Activity

Dip the sponge in some paint and dab it all around your bunny! Do this until it’s completely covered in paint. Then, glue a white pom at the bottom for the bunny’s tail!

#5: Footprint Bunny Paper Plate

This Easter bunny craft is perfect to try with your toddlers and preschoolers.They will get so excited to put their feet into paint!

How to do this activity

B. Set-up

Paint the paper plate grey or brown! While waiting for it to dry, create the bunny’s ears out of cardstock. You can use colored paper or even paint the cardstock the same color as you painted the paper plate.

C. Activity

Paint your little one’s feet! Then, have them make prints on the paper. Make sure to press the entire foot down, so it all shows up on the paper.

Let it dry! Then, paste the prints to the paper plate.

Lastly, glue the ears to the back of the paper plate, cotton balls in the center, and feet on the sides.

#6: Bunny Handprint Craft

B. Set-up

If you want to make this craft a card, cut your paper in half we like did!

Paint your little one’s hand white using washable white paint.

C. Activity

Flip their hand over and make a print on the paper. Make sure to press their hand down in all the spots to make sure the print shows up entirely.

Have them place their index finger and middle finger and their ring finger and pinky together to make the bunny’s ears.

Then, the kids will paint the inside of the bunny’s ears pink. Then they will add a nose using the circle brush, googly eyes, and whiskers!

B. Set-up

Use myFREE bunny printableto trace a bunny on cardstock. We also create some Easter eggs!

Then, outline them in glue. Finally, shake a bunch of salt all over the glue, then dump the access in the trash. This activity can be done right away, or you can wait. If you are waiting, I suggest you use cardboard!

C. Activity

Have the kids use watercolors to paint on the salt! They can use one color or choose to use several.

They should try to paint on the salt and not get the paint on the paper as much as possible. This Easter craft for kids turns out SO pretty!

#8: Bunny Mask Craft

I love when kids can play with the craft they just created! They love these crafts the best.

This Easter bunny craft for kids is PERFECT for toddlers and preschoolers.

How to do this activity

A. Materials you need

  • paper plate
  • cotton balls
  • glue
  • scissors
  • cardstock paper
  • glue stick
  • popsicle stick
  • hot glue

B. Set-up

Draw a semi-circle on the back of your paper plate. Poke a hole in it and cut it out so your kids will be able to see through the plate.

Draw two bunny ears out of white cardstock paper. Create smaller pink ears to be the inside! Use a glue stick to paste the pink onto the white.

C. Activity

Add a bunch of glue around the entire plate! They can use a lot of glue for this craft. 🙂

They will add the cotton balls all around the plate.

An adult should do this step.

Hot the glue ears onto the back of the plate. Also, hot glue a popsicle stick to the back of the paper plate for your kids to hold up the mask!

Then, the kids can play with their masks!

Make a bunny shape on paper, cut it out, and use masking tape to attach it to a white piece of paper.

Then, cut a sponge up into several different rectangles.

C. Activity

The kids will dip the sponges into paint and make prints around the bunny shape! They should use different colors to make the prints and cover the paper as much as possible.

Make sure they get ALL around the bunny shape.

When they are done, pull the bunny image off to reveal what’s underneath. Lastly, glue down a pom-pom for the bunny’s tail.

The kids will make different colored fingerprints around the paper. Make sure that they get around the entire bunny image so it shows up.

Pull off the bunny image to reveal the bunny shape on the black paper! It looks so cool with all the bright colors on the black paper.

Have the kids use the oil pastels to color around the bunny. They can use one color or multiple colors!

Peel off the bunny shape to see what it looks like. The colors turn out so bright and pretty.

Print off the sheet and have the kids start to rip small pieces of construction paper! We used pink, blue, purple, yellow and green!

C. Activity

They will use a glue stick to glue down the pieces of construction paper on the bunny. They can write their name on the craft and give it to someone special!

Using a fork to create art is fun and easy for kids to try!

This Easter bunny craft looks like an adorable and fuzzy bunny. I love the texture the fork prints leave.

  • pipe cleaners
  • glue
  • glue stick
  • googly eyes
  • fork

B. Set-up

Create the ears and nose for the bunny out of white and pink cardstock paper.

Then, grab a bowl and trace it on a sheet of paper.

C. Activity

The kids will dip the fork in white paint and make prints all over the circle shape that you created. They should try to fill in as much as they can to make it look like a bunny!

Then, paste on the nose and ears! Lastly, cut a pink pipe cleaner into a few pieces to create the whiskers for the bunny.

Use glue to paste those on near the nose. You can then add on a smile for the bunny or leave it as is!
