I notice some nasty people suggesting that she is just after the attention and others even saying she is fooling us and the Doctors and there is nothing wrong with her. I dispair that there is people like that in this world. All my love to Amy.
There are some very sick people in this world… sadly social media has given them a platform.
Good grief, in light of recent tragic news, why can't people just be nice? Amy has battled Crohns for years! Which led to the cancer. The poor girl has suffered enough. Unfortunately the voices of the bullies of the world have been amplified on social media.
Be kind everyone.
has this actually been proven though in Amy's case? obviously I don't think Amy is faking anything about her illness or treatment, but was BIB an assumption or a fact?

No I don't think the two are connected. She has just been very unfortunate.

How on Earth is Amy meant to be fooling oncologists? Or any other doctor for that matter? Do they think she’s some kind of medical-genius-supervillain?
It’s the comments section of the daily mail there’s no point looking for sense or empathy there
Yes that's where I saw it when I commented. I just don't know what is wrong with people nowadays, I worry for my Grandchildren with all this cyber bullying. Then we have these conspiracy theory nutcases. ☹️

Some people are just horrible for no reason. Amy comes across as a lovely person, and it's sad that she's suffered so much while being relatively young.

thanks-I didn't think so either, but you know how these days you gotta be careful with medical misinformation! agree Amy's really had a rough go of it

Amy's mother had breast cancer so that's maybe why she has unfortunately been diagnosed with it. Crohns disease isn't cancer itself, but sufferers can sometimes be at more risk of developing cancer, mainly abdominal / gastric / anal.

Honestly, this has made my entire day. Absolutely over the moon and "dance floor I'm coming for you" made me smile from ear to ear.
Bring on September.

I see Amy is joining Lorraine's show as well as continuing with Dare to Dance. Good on you girl, grab every opportunity with both hands and enjoy it.
Amy has been such a shining light and inspiration throughout her diagnosis and treatment, she deserves all the good things coming her way.
Enjoy everything and health, wealth and happiness always.

I am happy she is cancer free but the BBC needs to look after her. I can understand Amy wanting to have a celeb again but it will just be brill to see her on the dance floor again.

The BBC have quite a good record of looking after and keeping on presenters with illnesses. Amy was kept in the Strictly family and episodes. They kept Jonnie Irwin on when he was ill, which was more than Channel 4 did. I don't think that the BBC can be admonished in that respect.
