Further to my previous post. I am a breast cancer survivor, and am eternally thankful every day. But it doesn't stop there, ever. The thought that it may come back is always present. I do hope and pray for Amy. The breast cancer community will understand totally what I am saying.
So is my nanny. I'm grateful she is still here

This is what happened to my dad after his first round of chemo, too. We really have to fight to keep our NHS alive.

Poor Amy, she has gone through such a lot and always tries to be positive. I really hope that she will get some brighter days soon.
My mum died from sepsis due to an antibiotic resistant infection while undergoing chemotherapy, the danger is so much more real than so many people realise.

Sorry for your loss. My neighbour was seriously ill with sepsis several years ago. Luckily she came through it.

A good friend of mine got an infection while having chemo and developed sepsis. She had good treatment, but the antibiotics then caused an allergic reaction, so it went on and on.
Fingers crossed for Amy; this has been a horrible few months for her.

my nanny ended up changing treatment as her chemo was making her incredibly ill. it was such a catch 22 situation.

Another one who got sepsis shortly after chemo (and a month into remission, when you start thinking you're safe, to boot).
Look how many just on this little forum. It really is not rare.
I had no idea how ill I was either. My family had to ring 999 and blue light me on New Years Eve.

Video from Amy “taking control” of losing her hair.
It’s an emotional watch, but also a moment many of us will have shared.

It's hard to watch, but seeing all the love and support around her counts for so much when you are going through serious illness. ❤️
Edit: Amy's shared this picture.

Bless Amy, she’s a beautiful person inside and out, with and without hair. Proud of her for “taking control” and will continue to have her in my thoughts 💗
