Easy Easter Crafts Made with Dollar Tree Supplies (2024)

A holiday is always a great excuse to get crafty and Easter is no exception. My kids love making Easter crafts and these Easter Wands are so simple to make, fun to play with, and made from Dollar Tree craft supplies.

If you’re ready for all things Spring and bright colors, this easy Easter craft is the perfect place to start. One of my favorite things about Spring is the return of COLORS!

I love all the bright and pastel colors associated with spring and Easter and this craft brings all those together.

My girls love pretending their Princesses and use just about anything they can as a wand, so we make these a lot during the year. These Dollar Tree craft wands can easily be changed up with colors and themes to use anytime of the year.

But since it is Spring, we’re putting an Easter spin on them.

I love easy Easter crafts and when they’re inexpensive too – win win!

Speaking of, our local Dollar Tree always has some amazing craft supplies, but lately they have been carrying amazing wood supplies. My girls do a lot of crafts, so this is an easy way to keep the craft supply drawers stocked without spending a lot.

I found these adorable Easter foam shapes on my last shopping trip to the dollar store. But if you can’t find them at your local store, you can always cut your own out of rectangle foam sheets at Dollar Tree.

Here’s what you’ll need to make your own Easter Craft Wands:

  • Glitter Easter-themed foam craft shapes
  • Wooden dowels – you can find different sizes at Dollar Tree
  • Glitter ribbon in Easter colors
  • Scissors
  • Hot glue gun
  • Craft paint
  • Paintbrush

The first step in making these Easter wands is to paint your wooden dowels in Easter pastel colors using any craft paint you have on hand. The Dollar Store often carries paint sets or individual containers of craft paint as well.

Once your wooden dowels are dry, glue each one to the back of a glitter Easter-themed foam craft shape. Hot glue will hold these much better and be more durable, but if your kids want to use regular glue, it will hold for a bit too.

Next is the fun part! You’ll need to cut some Easter colored glitter ribbons from the dollar store to various lengths. These will make the wands so much fun for kids to wave and play.

Again, hot glue works best for this craft to make the wands more durable for play. So, I suggest to hot glue the cut strips of ribbon to the back of the craft foam shapes on the wooden dowels.

Aren’t these just adorable? You can easily customize in different ways AND use different colors of ribbon and shapes to fit any Holiday or theme!

While this is definitely one of my favorite inexpensive crafts because I make them with Dollar Tree craft supplies, I realize that not everyone has a Dollar Tree nearby. Or maybe you just prefer shopping online.

My girls love making crafts as much as they love playing with their creations, which is why our craft room is always stocked with different supplies.

I love shopping at Dollar Tree for the supplies because I can get them at such a great price! If your kids are reading to start making Easter crafts, be sure to head to your local Dollar Tree for supplies, or order online at DollarTree.com.
