Andrea Delay
Andrea has worked in Barclays Corporate and Investment Banking for over 30 years and currently co-heads our UK Mid Corporate business with responsibility for over 500 people.
Prior to this role, she was appointed as National Head of Business & Professionals Services industry with responsibility for the national proposition in the UK.
Andrea is on the Gender Steering Committee at Barclays and established the external women’s network for the Corporate bank. She regularly speaks publicly about gender diversity.
Andrea has an MBA from Kingston University.
Co-Head of Mid Corporate
Paul Kempster
Paul joined Barclays in 2009 and currently co-heads our UK Mid Corporate business with responsibility for over 500 people.
In his previous role in the South, he led 7 teams looking after 2,200 Mid Corporate clients stretching from Cornwall to Kent and up into Essex.
He has also been the COO for Barclays UK Front Office Corporate Banking teams.
Prior to joining Barclays Paul spent 18 years working for RBS Group, Bank of Ireland and PricewaterhouseCoopers in a variety of roles dealing with corporate businesses.
Head of Mid Corporate, Midlands
Karen Thomas
During her 30-year career, Karen has worked predominantly in Wales but also spent time in the South West leading the Bath, Swindon & Wiltshire Corporate team. Other previous roles include Relationship Director, Business development and risk roles across the South and Midlands region.
Karen has previously taken a leading role in the gender diversity strategy for Corporate Bank and has a successful track-record in developing and promoting colleagues. Karen was shortlisted in 2020 and 2022 for the Best professional in Business, in the Welsh Women awards.
Externally, Karen is a member of Cardiff Capital Region Economic Growth Partnership board that focuses on improving the economic growth, digital connectivity and investment in Wales.
As part of a military family, Karen spent many of her formative years overseas. She enjoys travelling and using her languages skills. Other hobbies include Golf and personal fitness.
Head of Mid Corporate, Eastern
Stephen Ainsworth
Stephen is Head of Mid Corporate, Eastern Region, leading teams to support clients across Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Bedfordshire, Essex and East Anglia.
He has been with Barclays since 2005 and held coverage and leadership roles within the Investment Banking and Corporate Banking divisions, in a variety of sectors including TMT, Hospitality & Leisure, and Business & Professional Services. Prior to joining Barclays, Stephen worked in the defence sector for 12 years.
Stephen holds an MA from Cambridge University, a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Bath University and an MBA (distinction) from Manchester Business School.
Head of Mid Corporate, South
Mark Stuckey
Mark has been in banking since 1988 and has worked within Barclays for more than 25 years. He is ACIB qualified.
Over the last 10 plus years, Mark has led various different business areas and regions within Barclays, including the Real Estate industry team focused on smaller property businesses through to Large Corporates.
He now leads the South Region encompassing South West and South Coast of England, Oxford, Thames Valley and also South Wales. Prior to this role, he headed the South Coast Surrey & Sussex Mid Corporate business, where his team of Relationship Directors managed client relationships across Dorset, Hampshire, Surrey, West & East Sussex.

Irana Richards
Irana is Head of Mid-Corporate for the London and South East region, responsible for the strategy, portfolio and income performance across our Industry aligned teams. With over 20 years of Corporate and Investment Banking experience, she has held roles within Operations, Coverage and Leadership across variety of sectors including TMT, Business & Professional Services and Healthcare.
Irana is passionate about promoting Barclays support in gender diversity and Strategic Innovation within all Industry sectors.
Head of Mid Corporate, North
Debbie Mullen
Debbie has worked in Corporate and Investment banking for over 30 years, the majority of which has been spent in client facing roles across relationship banking and debt finance. Debbie was appointed to her current role in October 2022.
Prior to that Debbie was an Industry Director for Business & Professional Services, where she was responsible for leading the regional teams. She is committed to initiatives that help inspire women across business to invest in their careers and is regularly invited to speak about her own experience at a number of events.
Head of Corporate Banking, Northern Ireland
Adrian Doran
Adrian qualified as a chartered accountant with PWC and joined Barclays in Oct 2000 with a remit to grow the bank’s Corporate Banking business in Northern Ireland. Since then Barclays has led some of the largest financing transactions completed in the region, and the bank is now recognised as a leading player in the market.
Adrian is a past Chair of the CBI in Northern Ireland and was previously a member of Senate of Queen’s University Belfast.

Jamie Grant
Jamie is a qualified Chartered Accountant with more than 15 years’ experience in Corporate Banking. Jamie has been involved in several high profile deals in the UK and was named the Emerging Dealmaker of the Year in 2006 and was nominated as Banker of the Year in 2008.

Steve Fergus
Steve joined Barclays in 2019 and was appointed Head of Healthcare in 2020. With over 15 years experience within Corporate Banking, he has undertaken roles ranging from leverage finance to client coverage with his focus being purely on Healthcare over the past 6 years. The Barclays Healthcare team supports a wide-ranging client base with their dedicated specialist approach, industry knowledge, and sector-specific products and services. Head of Social Housing
David Cassidy
David leads our Social Housing team in maintaining and developing strong links with all of the key stakeholders in this sector. Having joined Barclays in 1982 he has worked closely with Corporate clients in relationship management, debt structuring and leadership roles. This included six years up to 2009 as a Director in the Social Housing team. Most recently David has led a team in our Business Support division. Head of Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics
Lee Collinson
An experienced banking professional who joined Barclays in 1988 undertaking a number of roles across client coverage, debt finance and credit. Currently responsible for all Barclays UK clients in the Manufacturing, Transport and Logistics sectors.

James Morris
James has worked at Barclays for over 21 years, starting his career on the graduate programme in 1999. He has undertaken a number of leadership roles across Corporate and Investment Banking, most recently, Managing Director, Head of UK Insurance & Captive Banking within the Financial Institutions Group. James was appointed as National Head of Business & Professionals Services in January 2021 with responsibility for the national proposition in the UK.
James takes a lead role in the Diversity and Inclusion Council where he has been externally recognised and named among the “50 Leading Lights in the UK”.

Mike is head of the Barclays UK-based Hospitality and Leisure Team. With over 30 years of experience, he and his team support a wide-ranging client base with their dedicated specialist approach, industry knowledge, and sector-specific products and services.

Karen Johnson
Karen joined Barclays in 2015 to lead the large corporate team in the North West. Karen has over 25 years banking experience working with owner managed businesses through to large corporates. She has worked in a senior capacity in a variety of roles across the bank and was appointed as Co-Chair of the Corporate Banking D&I Council in 2018.
Key campaigns during the last 2 years include the Women in Business Awards and launching the ‘This is Me’ North West to raise awareness and reduce the stigma of mental health. In 2018 Karen won the Business Impact Champion Award for work in the mental health arena for This is Me in the North West and is now looking at growing awareness across the UK.

Julian Batson
Julian leads our national team of specialist bankers supporting this key sector of the UK economy, aligning our broad range of financial services to the varied and particular needs of councils, combined authorities and central government departments.
Julian joined the bank in 2005 and has over 20 years’ experience in corporate advisory roles. Prior to joining Barclays, Julian was Practice Leader with Mercer where his team specialised in advising management teams and trustee boards on the provision of employee benefit schemes across a wide range of industries.

Richard Robinson
Richard has been in his current role since 2016 having worked in the sector for nearly ten years. Richard is also a former college Vice-Chair and Governor of a further education college. Richard has over 15 years’ experience in Corporate Banking.
Head of Agriculture UK
Adam White
Adam leads our Agricultural business in the UK, with over 18 years’ experience. As Head of Agriculture he leads the Agriculture team based across the UK. Our Agricultural Managers work closely with local agricultural businesses to help them to thrive.
Head of Public Sector, Barclays Corporate Banking
Jess Tomlinson
Jess runs the Public Sector team who look after over 800 clients nationally across Social Housing, Education, Local and Central Government and Charities.
Jess joined Barclays in 2015 and has held a number of leadership roles across debt, asset management and client coverage.
Prior to Barclays, Jess worked in debt origination and restructuring roles in the real estate sector for RBS and Blackstone.
Jess began her career as a lawyer at Allen and Overy.

Jason Constable
Originally joined Barclays in 1990, Jason enjoyed a career spanning Corporate and Investment Banking. After a spell at Platinum Equity, Jason re-joined Barclays in the European Real Estate Finance Team in 2005. Having undertaken a variety of roles within the team he was appointed Head of UK Real Estate in 2021.

Nazreen Visram
Nazreen joined Barclays in 2005 as a Relationship Director in Retail and Wholesale Corporate Banking team. Her previous role involved driving delivery of our Citizenship strategy, ensuring execution of the plan and to increase colleague engagement.

Helena Sans
Helena is National Head of Technology, Media & Telecoms, responsible for the strategy, portfolio and income performance across our Industry aligned teams. Global Head of Transaction Banking
Karen Braithwaite
Karen Braithwaite is Managing Director, Global Head – Transaction Banking within Barclays International, based in London. Her responsibilities cover global payments, digital channels, liquidity products, foreign exchange, trade finance and working capital across product management, sales management and client management. She leads teams that serve clients globally, including corporates, financial institutions, non-bank financial institutions and governments. Karen is a member of the Corporate Banking Executive Forum.
Managing Director, Global Head of Payments and Digital
Martin Runow
Martin Runow is the Global Head of Payments and Digital at Barclays Corporate Bank. Martin has a significant breadth of transaction banking experience and joined us from Deutsche Bank in 2019. During his 26 years at Deutsche, he held multiple global and regional client and product related transaction banking and corporate banking roles – among them cash management leadership roles based in New York, Zurich and Frankfurt. He leads a global team of product managers and client experience professionals that deliver payments, transactional FX and digital solutions to our corporate and institutional clients across all segments and geographies.
Managing Director, Trade & Working Capital
James Binns
T&WC serves Corporate, NBFI and FI clients globally with teams located in the UK, Europe, Americas, Asia and the Middle East. Prior to joining Barclays, James spent 4.5 years at Deutsche Bank where he headed Working Capital Advisory and Trade Finance for EMEA and latterly Global Cross Product Solutions.
Managing Director, Global Head of Cash Management Sales
David Shinkins
David is the Managing Director, Global Head of Cash Management Sales. David is a member of the Transaction Banking Senior Leadership Team, responsible for all cash management and FX sales activity for Barclays Corporate Banking globally. In addition to this role David is Co-Executive Sponsor for Spectrum, Barclays LGBT+ network and Co-Chair of the Transaction Banking Diversity Council. Prior to Barclays, David held a wide range of commercial and international business development roles at American Express and Bupa.
David has held a number of advisory board positions, examples include the Visa Digital Strategic Advisory Board and the China Union Pay Advisory Board.
Managing Director, Head of Lending and Portfolio Management, EMEA
Jonathan Brown
Jonathan Brown is the Managing Director and Head of Lending and Portfolio Management for EMEA and a member of the Corporate Bank Executive Committee based in London. The group he manages is responsible for the lending activities of banking and the management of the lending portfolio through the loan lifecycle. He was appointed to this role on June 1, 2017.
Prior to this appointment Jonathan was Managing Director and Co-Head of Global IG Fixed Income Syndicate and Head of Banking Capital Management for EMEAPAC, based in London.
Managing Director, Head of Liquidity Solutions
Yera Hagopian
Yera Hagopian is Head of Liquidity Solutions within Transaction Banking Products and Services at Barclays. She is responsible for driving the delivery of Barclays’ liquidity product set globally and providing integrated liquidity solutions to corporates, financial institutions and non-bank financial institutions.
Yera has a wealth of experience in global liquidity management. She joined Barclays from JP Morgan where she was EMEA Head of Liquidity. Prior to that, she was responsible for Liquidity Services at HSBC for 11 years, a role which involved the coordination and development of HSBC’s global liquidity management.
