Well, in our Gotham Knights Mods guide, we’ve picked out the ten best cheat mods currently available for players looking to add a little extra something to their game. For the most part, these mods fall under specific customisation mods, but there’s plenty to choose from. So, let’s jump into everything you need to know, including all the technical details.
The Best Gotham Knights Mod Cheats
First up, the customisation bumper pack offers users the chance to pick and choose from a variety of Gotham Knights mods. For this one, you can add a faster glider for Nightwing, longer jumps for Red Hood, a longer timer for Robin, as well as improved bike speed, increased bike reverse speed, and instant brakes/stop. Not forgetting, a very appealing one-second cooldown on special abilities.
There are four different download files to choose from which can be downloaded directly from the official Nexus Mods site.
To install, place the downloaded file into the ~mods folder. If you don’t have a ~mods folder yet, you can create one by heading to Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks and place the mod in the new folder.
Batgirl - short cape or no cape mod
This popular mod allows users to either remove or shorten Batgirl’s cape. When a player unlocks Batgirl’s gliding mechanic in Gotham Knights, her cape on all outfits transforms to one mirroring how Batman wears his cape i.e. a lot longer. Some users don’t want that, so they use this mod. To install, follow similar instructions to the above mod wherein you pop the download file into \Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks\
Better Rain Mod
For players looking to see and experience the rainy, or foggy, days of Gotham Knights, this mod tweaks the settings to make it more visible. To install, extract the download, go to the Gotham Knights install folder, head to \Mercury\Content\Paks and place the pack file there. This folder should also contain ‘pakchunk0-WindowsNoEditor.pak’.
Always Fuse Legendary or Epic Mods
Equipping and fusing mods in Gotham Knights makes for better weapon and armour stats. But, what if you want to make sure you’re only going to get legendary or epic mods from fusing? There’s a mod for that.
To install, place the downloaded file into the ~mods folder. If you don’t have a ~mods folder yet, you can create one by heading to Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks and place the mod in the new folder.
Batman Reborn Mod
Some players want more Batman and with this mod, Nightwing’s first gear set is replaced with Batman’s gear. This mod creator worked off the idea that they wanted Dick Grayson to become the new Batman following Bruce’s demise, so this mod is for those who also share this view. Or maybe you just want to look like Batman.
Unzip the download folder, extract it, and pop it into the usual place mentioned in the above mods - \Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks
Remove Cowl for Batgirl Mod
Similar to the removing or shortening of Batgirl’s cape, another specific customisation mod is to remove Batgirl’s cowl. This mod works on the Batgirl suits - New Guard, Privateer, Shinobi, and Beyond (Buzzcut only). Users can install all the files or separate ones, depending on what outfits you want to apply it to. File(s) can be dropped in the game folder.
100 Save Game Ready Mod
There’s also a mod for players wanting to jump into a new game with a lot of stuff already unlocked. This mod means you’ll already have all abilities unlocked (even knighthood ones), all knighthood challenges unlocked, all momentum abilities unlocked (Batgirl potentially some missing), best possible gear for level 30, most of the colours for suits unlocked, most of the side quests unlocked, and the main story finished.
To install, manually download the file from the Nexus Mods site and paste into C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\WB Games\Gotham Knights\Steam\Saved\SaveGames[YourRandomizedIDName]\
Arkham Knight Batgirl Mod
Another specific customisation mod for Gotham Knights is swapping out Batgirl’s Knightwatch Transmog suit with her Arkham Knight attire. Much like most of the mods on our list, you’ll need to install the file, extract the .zip and place it into the folder location - \Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks
New Game Plus Save Mod
Another popular save game mod for anyone looking to jump into a new game and skip the grind is this one. For this save game, you’ll get all characters knighthood unlocked, unlimited salvage parts, all character’s ability points unlocked, and the story to resume from the Dr. Langstrom investigation.
To install, the mod creator recommends backing up your save file and pasting the save inside the folder - C:\Users[Your Name]\AppData\Local\WB Games\Gotham Knights\Steam\Saved\SaveGames[Randomly Generated ID from SteamEMU].
Blackout Colorway Mod
Finally, one of the most popular mod downloads on Nexus Mods for Gotham Knights is replacing the Chroma Gray Ghost colorway with the cut Blackout colorway. As with many of the other mods on our list, drop the PAK file into Gotham Knights\Mercury\Content\Paks\~mods folder. To uninstall, remove the PAK file from the same location.
